What is DEAM?
The goal of DEAM is to build awareness about the benefits of inclusive hiring. Benefits include:
- Increased safety rates
- Increased productivity
- Increased morale
- Increased profits – increases the bottom line!
Light It Up! For NDEAM
Light It Up! For NDEAM (National Disability Employment Awareness Month) is a national campaign spearheaded by the Ontario Disability Employment Network. In Saskatchewan, SARC leads this campaign. This national campaign started in 2021 and we’ve seen more organizations participate each year.
On the night of October 16, 2025, Saskatchewan showed the rest of Canada how brightly the land of the living skies can shine!
Across Canada, 846 locations in 160 cities participated in Light it Up! For NDEAM. Saskatchewan led the way with 198 locations in 20 communities. Way to go Saskatchewan!
